Post Black Friday Bourbon County

Back where I use to live in the DC area people definitely followed trucks around. They'd Park outside the beer store with friends/mules and drink till the delivery got there.

 

Thankfully my job is super flexible. I can usually leave at a moments notice if I see something come up...this has been priceless at times.

 

Yup. That's why I need to stand in ******* lines...

 

I've been there 3 times this past week, each time expecting the keg to be slightly less full. It seemed to me that I was the only one drinking it.

 

No no, there's at least two of us working on that keg. I was in Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon. I guess maybe I have you to thank for the check in on Untappd that alerted me to its presence? Probably back tomorrow if I get a chance. Cheers.

I went to the Pasadena Bevmo yesterday and they just received some regular BCBS, no variants.

 

They must've gotten a second shipment, since I went there on Black Friday and they were out of BCBS.

 

Yep, we had a keg at a bottle share last Saturday at someones house.

I've been meaning to check that place out... do they serve food too? How are the prices for regular pours of beer?

 

It sounded like it just came in yesterday.

 

Brewhouse in San Juan Capistrano has the regular on tap as well as a half barrel of Deep River. Good times that combo is.

Bills liquor (Atwater) just got BCBS (no variants). They're selling it per bottle.

 

Seems like regular BCBS is fairly plentiful in and around central LA. Shops selling per bottle kill me because they're always marked up so much. There's obviously plenty to go around of regular, these shops need to stop with the bottle limits and individual sales. Just let people buy the damn 4 pack as intended!

I heard at $7.5 a bottle...While LW had it <$6 yesterday.

 

No food except pretzels. Prices are not the greatest, but they do have some good stuff on tap and good stuff waiting to be tapped. Typical pour is $6-$7.
