Post NYC marathon volunteering beers

    My girlfriend and I are helping out til 330 at the marathon around the 1st ave and 76 th street stop and wondering after if there is any place to grab a few good beers with a premier tap list. Also possible place to pick up a few bottles not sure exactly where to go willing to travel from that area knowing it somewhat residential over there. Thanks for any help cheers

    You're in luck: The Pony Bar UES is on 1st and and 75th. As far as bottles are concerned there is Noble Grains bottle shop at 313 E 95th street. There is also a new bar The Jeffrey on 60th between 2nd and 1st. Enjoy.
