Hello, you fellow home brewers! I thought it would be fun to start a 'hauls' thread to show off new brewing gear and homebrew projects.

I started brewing a little over a year ago, and have been doing all grain brew-in-a-bag style brewing to some success. After BIAB'ing a few big beers (10%+), I am getting ready to move on to the more 'traditional' 3 vessel set up brewing.

Here's what arrived between yesterday and today:

    • 52 Qt Coleman Xtreme Cooler/Mash Tun
    • 24 inches of a stainless steel braided water heater supply line
    • 20 inch stainless steel spring coil (will go in the braid to provide support)
    • 2 Three piece stainless steel ball valves (1 for the Tun, 1 for the kettle!)
    • Various fittings, nipples, couplings, teflon tape, & gaskets
    • Step bit drill to make a whole in the kettle (still need a center punch...)
    • 10 ft of high temperature, food grade silicon tubing

Oh - almost forgot. The brother-in-law gave me one of the coolest wedding gifts I can think of:

Can't wait to get some wort flowing!

What new toys are getting you excited to brew? Any new projects in the works?

    Post'em up!

Nice score on the wort chiller. I want to try one of those out myself. It's the weak link in my equipment that limits my batch size at this time.

I have a 20 gallon boil pot, which makes for an impressive picture. I don't have it posted anywhere online right now, but I will see what I can do at home later.

This maybe one of my favorite parts of the hobby- DIY projects. Anything to make it easier and less time consuming. So far Ive made 2 keggles, one 10gal mash tun, a wort chiller, 2 tap converted keggerator, a paint bag hop sack for during the boil.... Ill post pics in the near future.
