Posting a local trade... in Regional Forums, or ISO:FT?

    So if I want to trade, lets say mailed in Canada only, or IP in some city... do I use ISO:FT forums, or do I post to the regional forums?

    Always wanted to know. If the answer is ISO:FT, would be cool to have a flag or something to easily tell which country the offer is coming from without having to click on the OP's profile.

    I've done this a few times with quick success, but, then again, I've done it at big events and around Cigar City Brewing. If you don't get any bites on the ISO:FT forums, maybe try the regional forums then, but it might get moved.

    Do both but geared to the audience you are trying to reach, and so it isn't considered multiple identical postings.

    I've been shut-down, thread deleted, violation of user rules beermail in a regional thread, for inquiring about interest in a trade for a release (not a HF). I guess it depends who's minding the store at the time.

    It seems like regional threads about specific release events frequently have folks chiming in to say, "btw, I'm bringing stuff from whatever brewery if anybody wants an IP trade," and those posts seem like that usually stay up. Same with, "I'm visiting X city, where to go? Oh, btw, ISO..." Posting a specific new thread ISO an IP trade in a regional forum will not last long most likely.
