Then you say “hey man, temps look really bad the next week. Let me know if you want to ship now or wait until it warms up.” The continued dragging on if I’m shipping tomorrow is the problem

No friggen kidding. I haven't been at this long enough to lament the 'good old days' but I like it when people drop those buzzwords followed by a $ number because it makes the decision to not deal with them easier to make. Comparing rare beer to other rare beer is fine, but start going on about perceived dollar values and I'm out the door! Secondary markets ruin everything they touch by causing an influx of greedy rats who honestly DGAF and just want to flip a quick buck. And it seems like the secondary pestilence is spreading on the wind these days...

I'm not saying that has any bearing on this thread, I'm just venting for the fun of it.

I felt the GNVPs were harder to obtain than the CW, with the cycle and specific dawgs being nearer the same to the Central Waters. I'm sure neither I or the other trader were looking to do anything other than drink the beers. The 21 was excellent, and I'm looking forward to the rest. Not to put myself on a pedestal or anything. Secondary values help when it comes to trading but should only be used as a rough guide if at all. If I were absolutely adamant on getting my "value" back I would have used my argument to ask for more beers from the other side.

Uggh...sometimes people like to poke the bear when they are wrong...when all they have to do is *listen, learn, and absorb*.

We're good here. If this needs to be re-opened to let everyone know that *COMMUNICATION* is key to any trade...please message me.

    Cheers!
