I would likely hire an assistant to accompany me to tastings and type my reviews into Beer Advocate for me as I try new offerings.

I would buy out growing breweries so AB/Inbev cannot!

@3bthero and I talk about this pretty frequently and the first thing we always say is that we'd buy a helicopter to fly us to Casey releases; that 8-10 (sometimes 12) hour round-trip drive can get painful.

If I had that kind of money I have a dream about having a "beer cave". It would be similar to a wine cave that some people have, a cool/cold place that is a little dim, climate controlled, walls lined with quarried stone and covered with sturdy wooden shelves filled with awesome beers. Generally in the basement level. These custom rooms often get ridiculously expensive between the stonework, climate control, and handbuilt custom shelving. I also thought a little computer system with a barcode scanner to track inventory would be ideal.

Besides that, a trip to Belgium would immediately be on the list, as well as trips to Bend, OR and the New England area. Probably make a trip to the Chicago/Indiana area before swinging back through New Glarus, Central Waters, and finally hitting the Midwest. I would probably spend 6 months or more just visiting relatives and traveling around, hitting breweries and bottle shops along the way.

I would certainly acquire homes in (or near) Bamberg, Munich, and Brussels.

Move to coastal Northern California, maybe a couple hours north of the Bay. Get a nice house, and yeah I'd probably open up some really nice taproom/brewery with an ocean view. And yes, I would just pay someone to run it. I mean, I'll be making $20m a year easily in interest alone.

And yes, I'd give as much as i could to family and some close friends.

First, set my disabled daughter up for life so she doesn't have to ever worry about money. Then, just enjoy life, be it through drinking the good stuff, climbing Everest, or just sitting on a beach somewhere.

After taking care of immediate family, I'd buy a jet and RV to visit any and every brewery. Surprise most of the small ones I love with some type of gift for support ($25K? Would need to learn what the limit is for gifts. Think 10K is for individuals). Bring home all my loot and beer to my new home (probably a mansion or log cabin somewhere) to enjoy. I like the idea @HorseheadsHopHead had with 2 refrigerated rooms, adjoined by a huge tasting and tap room...IN MY HOUSE.

Probably blow it on hookers, coke and strong Bruery ales. Most likely dead within the week. No thanks!
OTOH I could buy a shit ton of AB Inbred stock and become a thorn in their side at shareholder meetings. So that.

Unfortunately I would probably need a liver replacement a few years down the road. I guess I would hire a chef and a personal trainer to help prevent this.

I would move with no forwarding address , hire an attorney and a CPA.

Buy more beer than I could ever drink , pay off all debt and send all friends kids to college. After this I would fly my friends all over creation to drink beer in amazing places. I like to share so it would be quite fun.

    Enjoy

With 1.6 billion shares out there you would not make a dent even of you spent all the winnings on stock. You can own 1 share and still go to meetings and raise issues.

    Enjoy

    A. buy a case of one of the Cascade sours and if there was enough left I'd spludge on the Micky D's dollar menu.
B . Drink Utopias like it was tap water .
    C. Always have had a softspot for our vets and the homeless , so a good portion of the money would go to helping those in need. ( maybe part 2 of the hobo brewery tour ) bus and trains to cities with breweries and spend time and money helping the local shelters and food pantries.
