I have decided to visit the Prague beer fest this year. The organisers have sensibly moved the fest away from the edge-of-town venue they had been using. Hope they've reduced the prices as well...

    Any recommendations from tent B?

Cyhne is a favourite of mine (at the Hotel Viktor).I have also had good pints of Kacov in Prague, and been to the brewery at Beroun.

Kout in Tent A is also a must-visit.

Thanks for sharing this. I will be in Prague the last week of May and I am now even more excited. The site says that beers may be purchased with tickets called 'tollars. Any idea what a tollar costs?

    Thanks

It says that 12 Tollars is 27.7 $. I guess Tollar in this case is festival money. Czech currency is crown, and Tolar was Slovenian currency before Euro.

Bump for this. I will also be in Prague for the beer fest, and would love some recommendations for micros!

I spoke briefly with Honza in San Diego at the Craft Brewers Conference, Kocour should have 3 interesting beers in tent B. He said Tent A was going to be the bigger breweries and B the smaller ones. I'll be there later next week. Cheers, Ron
