Not sure if it's too late, but my wife is going to Prague, staying in OldTown for about a week on business. Browsing through some old threads, there are quite a number of places I told her to visit timing permits (Pilsner Urquell experience, u fleku, prague beer museum, craft beer spot, lokal, letna lookout, etc.) Was wondering if there were any good bottle/can shops. Not looking for lambic, just quality czech pilsners to bring back to the states for me to enjoy. Any recommendations on places near Old Town she can check out as well as what she should look out for? Any help is appreciated!
As you can imagine, Praha / Prague has plenty of good bottle shops, but most of them are not in the old town. The best one is BeerGeek Pivotéka in Slavíkova 1047/10, Praha 3 Zizkov. The only beer store in the tourist drag in the old town is The Beer Place Prague in Jilská 451/20. Expect the prices there to be 2-3 times higher than in other beer stores.
