Pretty sure it's Prairie Ale in barrels. I think I saw these barrels last time I was at the brewery. These 3L releases are fun.

Is this going to be an OK-only release?

Just can't do the 3L beers. Oh well, won't be the first beer from these I guys I've missed out on...

@russpowell, I pretty sure they are doing 500ml and 3L.

If anyone is planning on attending let me know. Maybe we can work out a carpool/pay for gas type of thing. Always wanted to go check them out.

Don't know what to think of this brew. We get some PAA down here in Austin, but their last wine barrel aged beer, Wine Noir, while good, didn't strike me as a beer I'd pick up again. Still got one cellaring, so it may change (or I might) for the better.

All in all, I wanna try before I buy. Cherry Funk is good though.

This won't be released at the party, it will be delicious though. It'll be another typical Oklahoma scramble where approximately 100 of us end up with 80% of the bottles.

We need that.. living in beer purgatory. Prairie is the only thing I can trade.

This hit the shelves in OK today. Price point is entirely too high. ($120 is the cheapest I've seen. Some places are selling for $150)

Don't think any 500mL were filled. Bummer.

Wow. After all the good beers they've made, it's amazing to think Prairie is only getting around to their 2nd anniversary. Would've thought they had been brewing for a lot longer.

That was my break point. I can kinda justify spending $1.2-$1.5/ oz on smaller format releases but anything over $100 is rough, even if the format is bigger.

Snagged a 3L for 120. Now to figure out when to open it.

They said they decided not to do 500s, they did only 3L.

Side note, picked one up today. It should make for a fun party.
