    From the blog:

"Hey guys and gals, we’ve made it to the weekend! For all of you Oklahomans, you should start seeing our newest release, Limo Tint, on store shelves today and tomorrow. This is one of our house beers that we raised the ABV on a little and decided to brew more of, so it will see distribution out of state. This beer is a 5.6% milk stout aged on cacao nibs, so it’s nice and chocolatey. Grab a 4 pack when you get a chance!"

Hope it makes it to Texas!

Nice! Looks like reviews so far have been less than stellar though.

Not a dig on Prairie...milk stouts just aren't my thing. Plus another 12oz bottle that will probably be $8-$9. I have to pass.

They said four packs so if it is $32 a pack I am sure most would pass. My guess is it will be about $10.

Edit: Sounded like an asshat, did not mean to sound like an asshat.

You are assuming that stores in Texas won't break them down and sell them as singles since they know how people get over Prairie.

I totally stopped reading after "milk stout." 4 packs...much better.

I don't get the Prairie hype at all. Bomb! is pretty good. Wine Barrel Noir was really good, though neither are worth $8/12 oz to me. Everything else I've had hasn't been overly impressive.

I'd be a lot more on board with them if they were selling bottles for $4-5. But if they can charge $7-8 and people go for it, more power to them.

I like a lot of their beers. Birra and Standard are summer staples in my house. Ale is wonderful, and I like all their stouts, but I agree on price. If they could find a way to put Bomb! in a four pack and charge $14.99 to $16.99 Texas price, I would buy that all the time. Or at least bottle all their singles in 500ml bottles and keep the price the same. I'm just tired, and not chasing any more single 12oz bottle for 8-12 bucks anymore. Have at it tx_beer_man

This hit Moore (OK) Liquor today for $8.76, so mark it up about 25-30% for Texas distribution and I think you'll see four packs for $10.99 or so down here - call it $10.49-11.99 depending on the store.

Price estimate is simply based upon my experience with prices at the cheaper stores in OK versus what I see here in DFW.

This I can handle. I'll for sure pick up a 4pk just to check it out.

I had buyers remorse after my $8.00 bottle of Christmas Bomb!

$8.76 for a non-BA Prairie stout is a tough sell. Prairie/ wholesaler/ distro quietly raised the price of Bomb! by about $0.30-.40 too. Used to be able to get Bomb for $5.89 before tax in OK. Now it's $6.2X.

I'm a huge supporter of Prairie and I'll gladly pay $XX.00 for their BA stouts but I can't justify this cost. It's essentially more than BCBS cost in Texas and Oklahoma.

    $8.76 is the cost for a 4-pack.

Yeah, they make good beer. Just most of it is priced as much or more than what I consider top-of-the-style beers and prairie isn't quite on that level to me.
