    Maybe the new noir is just unspiced bomb. That hasn't been the case before, right? Noir is an oatmeal stout, I thought.

    Has noir always been unspiced bomb with oatmeal? No way.

    I'm pretty sure Noir and all the variants have always been an Oatmeal Stout. The body of Noir seems a lot creamier (standard fair for most oatmeal stouts) and with less chocolate, than I would imagine an un-spiced Bomb! would be

    I have 2013 Bomb, Noir, Vanilla Noir, and Pirate with no problems other than the vanilla flavor is about 50% of what it was.

    I guess they save the good bottles for Oklahoma and send all the infected ones out to everyone else :wink:

    This beer is really stellar. It's not Fred's Blend quality, but it's excellent nonetheless.
