Not sure if his was posted elsewhere so sorry if this is old news.. Saw this posted in the New Releases forum and figured I would start thread here...

Ape Snake sounds pretty good, and I'm sure people will go nuts over the BA bomb.. Should be dropping this month in OK.

I'm more interested in the Ape Snake than I am the BA Bomb!. Because 1) a dark dry-hopped farmhouse ale sounds really interesting, and 2) I have a feeling that BA Bomb! is going to be in the $10/bottle range, which would make it ~$3.50 more than the regular Bomb!, and that's just too high.

If it's anything like Coffee Okie we might not see it until Spring......

I had a BA Bomb! last year. I didn't like it as much as Bomb. In this case, I think the barrel aging took away from the base beer. On the other hand, it's possible they could improve the next batch.

When it comes to a barrel aged Bomb variant, I think I'll stick to Pirate Bomb.

Do they even make Funky Galaxy anymore? I know it doesn't get a lot of love on BA, but I could drink gallons of that stuff. I can't remember the last time I've seen it around Austin, but Ape Snake sounds like it may be similar?!?

There is a release party being held in OKC on Friday. So I'm assuming it will be hitting distro soon after.. Label hasn't been approved in Texas yet..
