prairie bomb in chicago

Prairie was in town last weekend.

 

I think I saw that beer temple had it. Didn't go myself so I can't confirm it's still there.

 

I saw that it hit a few places, but I am guessing most of it is gone.

 

Hope all the Prairie accounts get at least some...

 

They (Beer Temple) sold out of it quickly the morning they put it out.

A few places had it and sold out in an hour or two.

 

Yeah in like seconds, but I got mine. It was a good time. He even put out Easter eggs too. Had a Cherry Rye Bourbon County Brand Stout hidden on the shelves I saw the guy grab it.... . Also I heard only 60 cases of bombs make it out of OK.

 

Got some in a trade. Send a lot of pipeworks to OK for this. Expecting good things!

 

Any other easter eggs? I remember he did Cherry Rye and Heady Topper about a month or two ago

 

I have been asking several Binny's for months now and haven't heard anything of it coming in. When I began asking the beer managers didn't even know what it was (and these were some of the Chicago Binny's).

 

More of the new batch is coming soon. It hasn't been released in OK yet.

 

Wholesaler has it, hopefully it gets released soon.

 

guys, guys, be careful... this thread is way too individual-brewery specific...it's going to get locked

 

I thought it was in danger of being locked for not being specific enough. It is about a specific beer in a specific city, but it doesn't specifically narrow down if it is about a bottle release, on draft, for trade. This thread will be locked by the end of the day for being too all inclusive.

 

I was at Small Bar in Logan Square yesterday and they has 12 oz drafts for 10 bucks. Soooo Excited!

 

Small Bar Logan is a great place in general. It's the beer bar in Chicago that everybody forgets about.

 

True great staff and food too. I'm lucky to live right down the street from there. Can beat their thursday wing special either. Kind of odd they didn't post the prairie bomb on their site, they are pretty good on updating it. Guess it was a good thing though, if they did I doubt I would have lasted more then a few hours.
