Prairie Bomb in OC?

Some shops got a case each this past week, but most likely sold out everywhere within hours.

 

Very few shops got Bomb! Hi time got a couple and sold out the same day.

 

high times had it, vendomes had it and supposedly A whole foods got it, and the usual big hitters in IE / LA

 

Mr. K's had some Friday but pretty sure they sold out shortly after I was there.

 

Yeah, seems like most of the places here in LA got one case and it didn't last long, even with one bottle limits

 

^i went to about 5 places the day it landed and only scored 2 bottles at liquor mart and Mr ks

 

lol no wonder I couldn't get any at Mr. K's.

 

Hi-Times got 2 cases and no bottle limit last week.

 

Only one bottle left at ICON BEVERAGES AND CIGARS IN THE CITY OF CYPRESS.

Saw a FB post by Prairie last week that "a pallet of bomb is heading our way" - anyone see them pop up anywhere yet?

 

You couldn't get any at Mr K's because they don't put any bottle limits in place and will let someone walk out the door with the entire allocation they received. It's the single biggest complaint I have with that place, and why I don't shop there very often.

 

Pretty much all stores got a case of prairie bomb just a few store got two. You are mistaking they do put allocation the first day of their shipment but the second day there is no allocation. You can actually call them if you want to put some beer on hold. Just like i did on velvet merkin.

 

Anyone seen bottles pop up?

 

This is Mike owner of Mr. K's. I do understand your concern and the only time we didn't put limit is when we know we had enough to provide for our customers. Whenever we get few cases we have always put a hard limit so customers get what they want. We only had a case of prairie bomb and we had one bottle limit per person. We had 10 cases of Almanac sour #3 and we didnt put limit on that particular beer because we knew we were going to get another 15 more cases the following week. I do know you very well and you have always supported our business. We want to make sure you get what you need. Sometime it does get difficult to make everyone happy when we only have a case to share for all the customers that we get. We will make a note of this and make sure everyone is happy. Thank you for your support and without you guys we wouldn't be successful as we are today.

 

Mike is a stand up guy and I happily support his shop due to his great Customer Service. Posts like the above prove to me that I have made the right decision in Mr. K's being my LBS.
