What's it gonna take? Any have experience trading for it or know what's fetching? Thought I put I up a good ISO/FT. Guess not
I bet if you only put the Cantillon 375 ml gueuze in the ft you'll have a much better shot at a bottle. That list is too big and Bomb seems to fly off the shelves much quicker than the other ones.
I did a rare dos and a Ccb homefront ipa for a reg mexi cake and bomb but that was with someone I traded with before fwiw.
I have no idea if it got more distribution in Oklahoma, but the distro to other states was really limited -- my local shop only got a case (12-pack, I think), and they had a one-bottle limit and still sold out in under an hour. I also think they were one of only five or six account in Northern California to get any. My best guess is you'll have to give up a lot to get it from a non-Oklahoman, as very few got multiples. You'll probably still need to offer a lot to an Oklahoman, but there are just likely to be more who got more than a bottle.
Gotcha. What was the bottle count on it again? I was thinking an equal $ amount of KBS would be reasonable, but I obviously could be wrong.
According to their Facebook, there were 320 cases, and only 60 of those went out of the state. I don't believe there has been a second batch, but that suggests there were somewhere around 3000-6000 bottles (depending on if the cases were 12s or 24s) floating around Oklahoma at release.
Honestly, I wish I'd hung onto mine to trade. It was good and quite well-made, but the pepper came across as a bit too vegetal to me, which isn't my favorite flavor. I think regular Huna is better.
2nd batch of bomb, supposedly all being sent out of state. Pulled this from their FB page. Hopefully some other states get a chance to try this outstanding beer!
I've traded twice for some Bomb. First trade I did a Cantillon Classic 375, 1:1. And in another I traded a Dark Lord '11 for 2 bottles of Bomb. Good luck, OP.
