I had been hearing it was coming for a while now, was starting to think it wasn't gonna happen. Had a fresh bottle this past weekend that someone sent me and it tasted fantastic. I'm looking forward to having some on draft.

I love this beer and have been impressed with Prairie but their price point (or Shelton's cough cough) makes most of their releases a "one and done" for me. ISO: $6.99 Bomb!

Yeah, definitely sticker shock. Was thinking more around $7 or $8 as it was rung up.

I grabbed a couple when I was in OK last fall, about $7 each, I was pretty disappointed in the first one, I'm keeping one for later this year

I loaded up when the $3.99 mispricing happened. Its pretty good, but even at $6.99 it's off my radar.

Total Wine will be pricing it at 11.99. The triangle area stores should be getting it on the 11th.

8.99 at beer study, with a good number on the shelves and looked like a few boxes still unpacked

So $8.99 at one end of town and $11.99 at the other?

I know State of Beer, Tasty, and BottleRev got it too. Anyone with a price check?

I wouldnt. Doesnt age well IMO. Unless you want the chili to almost dissapear.

Thanks for the tip, I thought a big beer like that would age well...and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't miss the chili at all, if it smoothed the beer out a little

Personally, to me, it does smooth out the beer. But almost in a negative way IMO. texture becomes muddled and less chewy. And I like a chewy big stout like that :grinning:. Coffee lasts longer than the chili, but the thing I like the most from this beer is the chili presence.
