I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I saw this on FB. I love the artwork as usual. Crossing fingers TX lands some when it's released.

Oh my. Please say copious amounts are coming to TX.

I remember seeing a facebook post that was asking people whether they wanted blueberry or cherry funk. I guess cherry won.

"Distributed by our friends at Shelton Brothers"

Don't think that bodes well for us.

I am pretty sure all of their labels say that

They do indeed. I think Favorite Brands reps Prairie in Texas; Flood has a partnership with Shelton Bros. and through it reps Mikkeller and others in TX even though the bottles say Shelton Bros.

    This is correct.

Favorite Brands reps Prairie in Texas and Shelton Brothers represent's them elsewhere.

Even though Flood has a relationship with Shelton Brothers, they cannot distribute beers that are signed to another distributor without legal penalty.

If anyone cares to know, if a brewery wishes to switch from one distributor to another, they have to be released from their contract by the distributor (would never happen), or void their contract and remove their product from the market completely for 12-36 months (I forget).

I will be buying. I appreciate Prairies efforts to spread out the amount of money I give them.

But the smart guys on here told me everything Carona put into law was good for brewers, and that DEBC and Peticolas were petty for being angry at the distributor laws....are you telling me the law actually does hurt the brewer and make distribution a nightmare....

If it doesn't come to Texas, does anyone happen to know the closest good liquor store just over the border that would have it? Is there a good liquor store in Durant, maybe?
