What I love about the holidays. All of the nasty christmas and pumpkin spiced beers take attention away from all the much much better beers being released around that time.

I don't see a problem with Bomb! variants. Its one of my most favorite stouts and I'd buy em all no matter what, DB bomb!, Pirate Bomb!, Christmas Bomb!, Pumpkin Bomb!, Cherry Bomb!, Apple Brandy Bomb!, Wine Barrel Bomb!, Sour Bomb!.....

Waiting on label approval. After that comes through, Christmas Bomb for all the good beer nerds, and more for the naughty hoarders

Dunno when it will be here, but I had a hard time telling the difference between this and regular bomb. Maybe if I did a side x side I could tell but there was nothing Christmas about it to me. Still mighty tasty though!

Here's hoping that the distribution is better for this one in Austin. It's frustrating to see Prairie Bomb stuff come here in tiny allocations (1 case per store, single bottle limits). Then, we get to go online and see cases flooding shelves in Florida, Georgia, New York, and California.

I wouldn't count on this being a huge release. It wasn't that plentiful on shelves in Oklahoma.

Prairie said they would send us more than BA Bomb.

But, that does not say much.

Ok, so that means there will be at least 12 bottles per store. lol weak sauce.

Bingo. I'm 100% done seeking out Prairie releases. Pirate and BA release days ran me off. They are spreading too thin and neglecting a state that fueled their early growth. I'm not going to bust my ass for the privilege of paying more than $1 per ounce for a single 12 ounce bottle.

You do realize that Prairie doesn't owe us anything? If you want to complain about prices, then you should lump in Avery, Jester King ($1/oz for fruited sours), Vanilla BCBS, etc.). If you've ever been to their brewery, you'd realize they don't have the capacity that others with a barrel program do.

Do I think $12 for Brimstone Bomb is a lot and that it was too rare? Sure, it sucks. That being said, it's tough to fault Prairie for putting out new beers every month.
