http://newsok.com/article/5513063 A lot to look forward to beer-wise in OKC, especially with the new Taproom laws going into effect Aug. 25th.
Yep, with all the state questions concerning alcohol, I think this one flew under the radar. Pretty huge in its own right. http://newsok.com/article/5503009 "The new law, Senate Bill 424, is scheduled to go into effect Aug. 25. Under the new law, craft breweries will be able to sell glasses of full-strength beer to visitors, as well as bottles, cans and growlers for customers to take home." http://www.newson6.com/story/321973...serve-sell-full-strength-beer-starting-aug-25 "At the end of August, Marshall and all breweries in the Sooner State will be able to sell full-strength beer in their tap rooms. Customers will be able to drink on site, but also fill growlers and buy bottles and cans of high-point beer to take home."
For some reason I thought was tied the other issue that will be on the November ballot. In my defense I am now in Arkansas 5 days out the week, so its probably not the only memo I missed...
I don't think you're the only one that missed it. For some reason very little has been made of it. Even the breweries aren't saying much, and I would think it would be a big thing on social media for them. We're pretty sedate about our beer stuff here in Oklahoma though. And again, getting full-strength beer at the source is pretty much de rigueur for the rest of the civilized world
