Was at the stein last night, and much to my shock, it was the birthday bomb they were pouring. Also had bottles of both bomb versions in the cooler.

It landed in Bellingham last week. There were multiple cases made available so it should be fairly easy to track down. This is the most expensive 12 oz I have seen from Prairie thus far though. . .

In terms of Portland, I think it (the Apple Brandy Barrel Noir) may have already come and gone. I was able to get a bottle at Arch Bridge a couple weeks ago, and at the time, they had a good supply. I stopped by to pick up a few more bottles a couple days later and they had been cleaned out. Since then, I have not seen it any place else (Beer Mongers, Belmont Station, MofC, etc.). That's not to say it might still be available somewhere in town, but I suspect it's going to take a pretty diligent search to find any at this point.

Thanks for the heads up as always @Moose90 & @thebeerjunction . I plan to head out in morning to pick a couple up. If its sold out here in the Seattle area, I'll grab in Bellingham over the weekend. Also saw a tweet from Chucks that it's in stock.

Maybe I'm jaded with the pricing on some of Prairies offerings, but is the Apple Brandy Noir over $12? Regardless, I'm a sucker for different types of barrel aged beers.

$11.49 / 12 oz, not sure what Birthday Bomb was, I never saw any bottles of it up here or in Portland.

Birthday bomb was $10 and $10.50 a bottle the two places I saw it. The only place I saw the noir , I think I paid $12.50 for it.

I think that was the about the price for Birthday Bomb when I saw it in Seattle, a couple stores still have it (Birthday Bomb)...

There was more Birthday Bomb on the most recent Shelton load (this week), so not surprising. Just had a pour on tap, incredible.

Agreed. I'm embarrassed to admit it (total homer that I am), but whenever I see it available, I always buy it. It's that good!

Haha I totally agree, I still fondly remember my first pours of any Bomb, I actually had Christmas Bomb before I found regular Bomb. I didn't know what to expect with Birthday but they did a great job yet again.

Chucks got most of the original release of Birthday Bomb which was a few months ago, but Shelton Bros just got more in so it should be seen at some accounts outside of Seattle this time.
