Just a heads up, seeing sightings of this around Houston now if anyone is interested.

No word on Coffee / Vanilla being around. I believe they were one time batches unless someone else knowns different.

Don't forget, it's stores and distributors jacking this price up. The original was like 6 bucks.

I'm done with Prairie, except for their more regular lineup. There are many other beers I would rather try

Actually, this version of Noir was pricier. $6 was for last year's. This batch was more costly.

Edit: For what it's worth, the number thrown around, noting the cost-per-case increase was above 40%.

I think everyone needs to re-read this and quit bashing Prairie for prices...

Also it wasn't Deschutes banging up the price of Abyss, it was ur favorite HEB and Specs. WF only priced 3-4 cheaper

Chase has asked that people report stores that are jacking up prices. I will start doing that.

$13 bucks for 12 Oz... Oh boy...

I wonder if it will still sell out at this price

I'm not in sales or anything, but isn't the price the distributor selling to the store directly related to the price the company is selling to the distributor? I mean you're still gonna have those dickhead stores that jack up the price even further cause its rare/limited, but $12 is the most common price here in TX for all Prairie BA beers, meaning that its the standard markup for that beer. To me that's not the store or the distributors fault, I would blame Prairie. To be honest, as a consumer, I don't give a shit about the process of the hands it goes thru and who to blame for the high prices. All that matters to me is how much I have to spend out of MY pocket to drink a certain beer, and for me, on this particular offering, its too much to shell out.

For sure, and trust me I don't want to add to the still sizzling firewood of Prairie prices talks. I gotta imagine its expensive to brew the heavily ingredient-ed/barrel aged beers already and the distro + retailer gotta get their's too

If Lagunitas can sell their High Westified coffee whiskey barrel (high west) aged imperial stout at $8.99 for a 22oz bomber why can't prairie?

    So anywhere that's over $6-7 is 'jacked-up'?
