My local liquor store is having a fire sale on the 2014/2015 Prairie Pinot Noir because the store over-ordered. They are selling it for $2.99 a bottle. An imperial stout isn't my favorite type of beer but I'm considering getting a bottle just to try it. Should I get more than one bottle?

Like steve said, it would have some trade value yo be sure. Maybe read some reviews if you are on the fence. Some people dislike the winey characteristics, but I reckon this should age alright.

Why not get a single bottle to try and go from there?

At $2.99 a bottle I'd buy 4 just to have a couple to age a little in my cellar.
