I will be in Tulsa later this week and hope to bring a good amount of Bomb home with me. Is the brewpub the best place to get bottles to go? I didn't see anything on their website. What do they run for a single? Are the local bottle shops similarly priced? If so, any recommendations there? Thanks.
The beer list on the website currently lists regular Bomb only on draft. As far as stouts go they currently have.. Bible Belt $15 Birthday Bomb $11 Regular Noir $17 Coffee Noir $17
There is also a Tulsa thread a bit further down in the Southwest forum that has an abundance of suggestions for bottle shops and places to grab a beer.
I can get Bomb in Iowa for about $9-$10 a bottle, but I thought that was inflated due to distribution. Is that the price at most places in Tulsa as well?
Due to current laws (that are changing Oct 1, 2018), you can't buy bottles to go at the brewpub. The good liquor stores in town should have Bomb at $5.99-$6.99
Full-disclosure: Ive never stepped foot in Oklahoma. However - I can say for Texas - BOMB! is pretty readily available at most stores that have a "better" craft selection. Also, Ive slowly watched the price drop on these.
Bomb is typically pretty easy to get in liquor stores in Tulsa. I tend to stay on the south end of town and go to B&B Liquor Warehouse and Tulsa Hills Wine Cellar. The brewpub has a few house brewed beers for sale in crowlers but I haven't seen Bomb. The brewpub can only sale 3.2 beers in a crowler.
