No limits at Atl bottle shops everywhere, and dirt cheap too. $3.49 a bottle.

 

Well what the hell..we didn't get Bomb! in S.C. when it arrived last week?, I hope it is on the way still...

 

I'll say.. hey, glad to be so leery, and be wrong.

Prairie has landed, and indeed, Bomb! was with it.. Infact, I'd venture to say, more Bomb! than the other 2 beers released.

I'm looking for some of their funkier offerings in the future, but Bomb is indeed nice to have. I picked up quite a bit today.

Also.. I noticed the ABV is 13%, not 14% like most. and there is no sleeve or anything on them, like most I've seen.. Wonder if it's a different version for our crap abv laws, or simply just a new label for us, and same beer, but within the level of inaccuracy of the abv measurement.

I picked up Wytchmaker and Mad Meg in Greenville last time I was there maybe a year ago. Didn't realize that I lucked in to one of SC's few JK shipments (which I'm glad about as I haven't had it otherwise).

Apparently the ABV varies by batch..

On the other end.. looks like Shelton Bro's is back in GA.

 

I seem to recall reading 13.9%, right? Regardless, we do want that ABV kept on the right side of 14% if it really does vary. Ah, yes, those days when Schmaltz "creatively" labeled their beers seem to be long gone.

 

I am loving these super cheap prices on Bomb! That is what happens when you take shelton bros out of the picture, distro is being done by Atlanta Beverage.

 

Yep, so many distros add a lot to the original wholesale prices. 12% distro is another good example. Bomb! here it is $3.59 a bottle, at least that is what I paid.

 

Read this post yesterday that there MIGHT be Prairie in the coming weeks. Went beer hunting tonight in Atlanta - Ale Yeah - no sign of Prairie, not even thinking about it. Greens next - a guy at the counter has a bottle of prairie ale and a bottle of Bomb! - tells me it was the last one - ask the guy who works there and he says they are the only one in town who has it - go to Hop City next and see a beautiful sight of a wall of Bomb! cases - walk out with half a case - it was a good night - so glad I dont have to trade for this stuff anymore, cant wait to get into the seasonal rotation and see what other offerings make it to us. $3.59/bottle? That honestly sounds like a mistake. Did you see it anywhere else or just at one store?

I had no idea this was happening.

Just yesterday I was talking with my beer guy in Savannah. I was told, "We should have some Bomb! and other Prairie goodies by the end of the week". I was completely floored BUT so very excited.

Guess mt days of trading for Bomb! are coming to a end!

 

Had it on draft last night at The Porter. Seems like it will be around one way or another.

 

What should it be going for? I'm just curious, all I ever see talked about is the barrel aged stuff and the noir.

 

I hope to see some bomb in Columbia......
