I've got three cases of Bomb landing today. Bottles are indeed cheap, however the kegs are very expensive. Wasn't ready to pull that trigger yet, a $27 64oz fill would scare off a lot of people.

I'm not positive, but I believe a lot of people were wowed by a mountain of Bomb! picture in OK with them for $5/bottle. I know Bible Belt is around $10/ so bomb at $3.49 seems really cheap. I think the normal Bomb! prices are around $6?

EDIT: Just re-checked the Regional forums and it looks like they average between $5.50 - $8 per Bomb!, with the $5.50 being the "excited" and "cheap" range.

It is the same price at most stores in Georgia. sounds like distros and stores have been bumping the price for some time in other places, because I remember trading for bomb and it was $10.

Wow.. so we have pretty good prices on the stuff. It seemed like a bunch came in, and sounds like most everyone is getting some. Wonder how often we will get stuff from them as well, and if we will get any of their other stuff.

It's $4 a bottle at Sprayberry Bottle Shoppe. Still had about 5 cases left.

Tried Bomb! last night. Not really a fan of chile stouts, but it was quite nice. Welcome to Atlanta, Prairie.

Indeed, I had one the other evening. Great beer I thought. Hides the 13% really, really well.

Not a huge partaker of the chile stouts as well, I love hot foods, but not in my beer. This one was subtle, and I enjoyed it.

Agree on both counts. I totally could not find the alcohol in the aroma or taste. But I felt it about 10 minutes after finishing it.

As for subtlety, it's an immensely drinkable beer. I cannot say the same thing for Mexican Cake. I think the copious amounts of vanilla helps with that--in fact, the vanilla is the most outstanding thing about Bomb! for me.

That being said, I doubt I'll run for Bomb! very often. It's nice to have it available, though, and I appreciated the chance to give it a try.

I'm wondering if we will lament not picking up more Bomb! now at $3.50 ea. I wonder if future shipments/allocations will rise in price. Perhaps looked over is their Ale, while less available than Bomb! it seemed. Really something nice I was surprised by. Getting Hop or other variants should be the focus after the big splash last weekend.

I'd be REALLY surprised if you weren't right. All it takes is for 1 distributor or rep or store owner to realize customers in every other state are happily paying $6+/bottle. If you're worried about buying more then you can drink, don't. I'm happy to help.

FYI: I'd happily do a swap with someone that has access to $3.50/Bomb!

Just saw a Facebook post from a store in Macon showing that they had Bomb, Birra and Prairie Ale in stock.

define close by? You are a ~10-15min drive from a few places that would have it. Hop City had a bunch as of last night.
