I paid $7.75 for Xmas Bomb in GA. Bomb looks to be between 6-8, depends on where you go.

Yeah I figured as much. Wonder what the reason is for much cheaper prices in Georgia? Think they just don't want to raise it too much after the price mistake?

ABC Oakland Park has some Prairie beers on the shelf. Christmas Bomb 12 oz for $8.99 (they have a bunch) and 4 pack of Standard (Hoppy Farmhouse) for $9.99.

    Hopefully some left on Fri.

Package beer is typically cheaper in Georgia. Not sure how much compared to South Carolina, though.

In Green's situation, they don't mark up beer very much at all because they're a full package store and have much higher margins on wine/spirits. Just like a grocery store, beer is marked up 10% because the majority of their sales is 30-50% markup. The beer isn't their core sales item, so there's no need to push it at higher margins.

Need to get a couple bottles of Christmas Bomb, myself.

I'm glad I grabbed a case of Bomb when it first hit Atlanta. It's one of my favorite beers, didn't even know about the price issue when I bought it. Got a case discount as well!

The new Bomb price isn't bad though, I was expecting a good dollar or so more a bottle. Won't buy a ton at that price, but I'll always have a few bottles on hand.

I'm waiting on them to send some Pirate Bomb, and some of their Cherry Funk and other beers to GA.

When discussing Bomb! prices, I wonder if the following rationalization would help: If Bomb! were packaged in 22 oz. bombers, would $14-16 be considered excessive? I think many people would be "okay" (not necessarily "happy") about that price. And that is about one would pay for two 12 oz. bottles in ATL.

Chile stouts are not my thing, but Bomb! definitely is the most drinkable of the lot. I hope we get some of the Noirs, especially the upcoming Brandy Noir.

BOMB! and Christmas BOMB! are $10 a piece in SC, which is ridiculous. Is Rafa and/or Twelve Percent involved?

Saving the Christmas Bomb to drink on Xmas eve. I wish I had grabbed more of the Standard 4 pack. That's a really good saison. Hopefully Prairie starts showing up more down here in S. Florida.

I think Rafa brought it, but somehow they did it through the Shelton Bros. Not sure how it worked, but that is how it was explained to me.
