As I haven't seen this started yet...Anyone staying at the Hampton Inn prior to DLD? If so, bringing anything fun to share? I read last year's post on this and agree that whales aren't necessary - although they may appear. Just good people getting together to share brews they may not otherwise be able to enjoy. And to keep on the good-side of the employees. I'll be heading down Friday and will bring some Half Acre, Cigar City and a couple tbd gems for the hotel. Anyone else?
My buddies and I are staying at the Hampton. Our first choice would be a bottle share at the Hampton. Is the hotel cool with it? I vaguely remember a cop telling me to get in my room and go to sleep last year.
I'm not sure what the hotel's stance will be. My friends and I will certainly be sharing bottles. One of the posts last year said the staff threatened to call the police...but I don't know more details. At this point it's too late to switch hotels so we'll make the most of the situation. Worst case - hold up in a room or outside.
I called the hotel and inquired about the night. They said that somebody has already contacted them about renting the conference room for the evening, but couldn't say whether or not it was for DLD activities (hoping it is). Either way, the GM said they were fine with the bottle share in the lobby again, but we need to be done by 11PM. Which is perfect IMO. I've got lots of stuff to bring that I've been holding onto, still haven't decided whats coming, but whats set aside now includes: Darkness Abyss BCBS + 2013 variants WC MooHoo CCB Bolita, Smoked English NG Fruit Beers Crooked Stave stuff Black Albert Black Ops HF BG&E KBS Parabola Jester King stuff BA Framinghammer Geez, gonna need to trim that list down.

Hello fellow BAs. I was wondering if anyone has a hotel floor I could sleep on Friday? I am looking to come down from Chicago to participate in the DLD Eve bottleshare. I would be happy to pay.
I won't be there Friday night, but does anyone know if the hotel is running a shuttle to and from DL day on Saturday?
