Pre DLD Party at Flossmoor Station (with BA RIS release)

Anybody know what ThunderSnow is? Can't find it in the DB

Of course duh, I think there's something to this "beer kills brain cells" thing, you guys.

 

ThunderSnow was an Imperial Stout they did that was available in early and mid winter.

BA ThunderSnow is what they are releasing for Pre-DLD. A new beer. Short barrel time.

 

Anybody have any insight as to how Flossmoor does these releases? I have only been there for lunch a few times, though I can not imagine the crowd/clusterfuggishness reaches FFF standards.

 

They will have a limit in place. They typically hand out numbered tickets first come first served. Then when it's time to hand out bottles, they call groups of numbers 10 at a time, and those people go to purchase their bottles.

 

Do they make people line up outside?

 

The last couple releases people have lined up outside and then they let everyone in an hour or two before the release time. This will be different though since everything is set-up outside. You can expect to get in some sort of line though.

Last year it was just a line, no tickets.

 

MordorMongo and I will try to make it. We're leaving the Indianapolis area around 3pm on Friday so hopefully we'll see you gents there.

 

I get off work at 5pm and would arrive at 5:45 at the earliest. Anyone know if this is too late to get there and get a bottle or two? Never been to one of their releases before.

 

You'll most likely be fine depending on how many bottles they release.
