Looks like that might be the name of the BA RIS?

ThunderSnow was an Imperial Stout they did that was available in early and mid winter.

BA ThunderSnow is what they are releasing for Pre-DLD. A new beer. Short barrel time.

Anybody have any insight as to how Flossmoor does these releases? I have only been there for lunch a few times, though I can not imagine the crowd/clusterfuggishness reaches FFF standards.

They will have a limit in place. They typically hand out numbered tickets first come first served. Then when it's time to hand out bottles, they call groups of numbers 10 at a time, and those people go to purchase their bottles.

Do they make people line up outside?

The last couple releases people have lined up outside and then they let everyone in an hour or two before the release time. This will be different though since everything is set-up outside. You can expect to get in some sort of line though.

I get off work at 5pm and would arrive at 5:45 at the earliest. Anyone know if this is too late to get there and get a bottle or two? Never been to one of their releases before.

You'll most likely be fine depending on how many bottles they release.

Last year allocations were 6 each (two different beer releases so 12 total) and I don't think they sold out that day. If they did, it was later in the night. Everything was outdoor with easy access to food/beer. I'm hoping for the same this year, but who knows.

Come on man....do you wanna start a secret BA so that we can only share information with those you deem worthy enough? People should be free to post about events on BA, I hope it's packed to the gills to remind the folks at floosmoor that they used to be a brewery first and a restaurant second.

I only live about 15 minutes away from there. I'll be heading over at 4:30. If anyone wants to commiserate with a fellow BA who got skunked on DLD tix we can drown our collective sorrows....

Um... it was sarcasm. And we all know we dont wanna become like those bells secret society guys. Screw that! But on a serious note. did anyone else notice in small lettering saying vintage beers on tap. Wooden Hell it is!. Ill be there at 4 waiting in that line.

sorry, it didnt seem sarcastic (where's the emoticon?) I've just been miffed that people get flamed for sharing beer info on a beer site. More then likely they'll have BA Hi-Fi, they have for the past 2 years. Also I assume a fair amount of sours and hopefully that above average fireside chat.
