    How are the horses determined? I'm guessing they will just be listed numerically and you'll run a random number generator?

    yes, below are the post position by horse with odds, trainers, and jockeys. i will put 8 names in a random number/order generator. the number you are in the generator corresponds with the post position, and by association, the pony, you get. i will also enter the names alphabetically just for more randomness.

    That sucks. Same thing happened to me this year hosting an NBA Playoffs pool...

    Diving Rod huh? He might be good for 3rd. Hoping for a scratch!

    iam happy with getting divining rod...he is a beast of a horse and is well rested lookout for his final turn speed (hope julien keeps him around 2nd or 3rd before he makes his move)
