Founders...I'd drink FBS over Heady if given a choice.

Arcadia I believe is on my way as well. Where is Dark Horse located?

I can't decide. I have been to both breweries and they are both just simply amazing. Each brewery has their knockout beers. I love Devil Dancer & Double Trouble and i love Hopslam & Oracle. To hard to choose...I choose both!

I'm gonna have to go with Founders on this one. Just not overly blown away with the standard offerings from Bell's, now that might sound worse than I mean, they are still a great brewery. However, Founders seems to be more consistent with their beers. First time I had Double Trouble, Red's Rye PA and Porter was just blown away!

Two Hearted is nice but I say Founder's. A perfect summer day is a cooler full of All Day in cans by the pool. Breakfast Stout is is my favorite stout. Centennial is a nice IPA.

Founders easy. Although I do not know if I like Expedition or FIS better.

Founders learned that you better make money. They are growing like crazy, and making money from the looks of it.

Founders is my favorite brewery. Bell's is easily top 5, so they're very close but Founders gets the nod as FIS is my favorite imperial stout, Porter is my favorite porter, and Harvest is at least in my top 5 IPAs. That's just too much for Bells, or anyone, to overcome.. I also love Backwoods Bastard and Dirty Bastard.

I will give Bells a slight nod to Two Hearted and Hopslam over Centennial and Double Trouble, and Third Coast a hair over Old Curmudgeon though. The rest of their lineups are probably too close to call.

FOUNDERS without question until BELL'S Planets Series is released.

Founders all the way. Much better selection and a healthier appetite for more "experimental" beers - something I appreciate.

I don't agree with you on all points, but damn. That's a good, thorough breakdown. Well done.

I used to hold both of these breweries in the highest regards and have really cooled on both. I definitely give the edge to Bells by a decent margin. Lets see a face-off of the two:

KBS vs BlackNote Winner Founders, KBS is just so easy to get your hands on and so good
Imperial Stout vs Expedition Winner: Bells by a long shot
Curmudgeon vs Third Coats Winner: Bells
Double Trouble vs Hopslam Winner: Bells by default because DT isnt good, but neither is HS really
    Breakfast vs Java Winner: Founders
Centennial vs Two Hearted Winner: Bells

I would prefer either of these breweries that everyone loves start distributing to Oregon. Of the two I have only had Bell's due to the generosity of friends and I've liked all 12 I've tried.

I've always given the edge to Bell's because they have a more diverse portfolio.. they attempt all styles.. Founders has always been world-class tho.. it's basically like flipping a coin for me..

I gotta go with Founders...Red's Rye was the first craft beer I had that didn't also have "Samuel Adams" on the label, so I've always had a particular fondness for the brewery.

Founders but its close . Double trouble and all day kinda send me over the line along with centennial. I did consider two hearted and double cream stout along with hop slam.

I'd have to say Founders (KBS, Backwoods Bastard, Imperial Stout, etc..), but I really do love Bell's as well (Hopslam, Cherry Stout, Oberon, etc...). I don't think there is anyway you could go wrong with either. Both are fantastic craft breweries!
