Whichever one decides to canvas for my vote by distributing to Washington!

I would never take someone's opinion personally. But I completely agree with you on those 2. While I wouldn't say I've had anything bad by Rogue, I've never had anything worth the price of admission. And out of the 3 beers you mentioned, the only one I find drinkable is Hopslam. I get why people like Oberon, not my cup of tea. But for the life of me, I can't figure out the appeal of Two-Hearted. I tried it a few times, with a good distance apart in case it was a bad batch, or my palate changed, but nope.

    Easy decision for me, Founders.

Both great breweries. My preference would have to be Bell's. Personal favorites:
    Hopslam
    Black Note
    Two Hearted
    Oracle
    Java Stout
Although I Never pass up KBS & Breakfast though.

I see myself drinking more Two Hearted pounder cans than all of both breweries' other beers combined, so that probably puts Bells over the edge for me.

Here we go again another Founders vs. Bells thread. It's really pretty easy, Founders by a mile. No no no, make that Bells. I mean Founders.

    Bells it is then.
    Founders.

If you make it further north go to Short's (Bellaire) and Right Brain (Traverse City). In my opinion, right up there with Bells and Founders.

    Cheers!

Founders edges it out. I like their stouts more, haven't had black note though. DIPAs I will give to Founders with Double Trouble, but I like Two Hearted a lot more than Centennial.

Both are great breweries but I would say Founders if I had to choose. I look forward to Devil Dancer, Old Curmudge, KBS, Harvest Ale more than any Bells releases. Although Two Hearted in cans has me drinking a lot more of it now that it's getting warm out and I need a "beach" beer.

    Love both breweries though.

I live in Grand Rapids, so naturally I'm biased. SO my vote goes to Founders. But I am also smart....

Founder's Breakfast Stout, Porter, RIS, Dirty Bastard,Centennial, Backwoods and Red's Rye are World Class beers.

They never get old, boring or let you down. Each time I drink one, I'm reminded of how well crafted they are.

I will say that an OBERON on a summer day is the bomb!

BA Stout: Black Note over KBS
    DIPA: Double Trouble Over Hopslam
    IPA: Two Hearted over Centennial
    Stout: Expedition over Founders IRS
    Porter: Founders
    Harvest: Founders

Throw in Backwoods Bastard and I have to go with Founders.

Definitely Founder's. Taproom atmosphere is way better. I also generally prefer all of Founder's core beers to Bell's counterparts, with the exception of maybe HopSlam over Double Trouble.

Bells, but only because their beers are easier for me to get fresh. Founders big beers are great, but the Two Hearted is always accessible on draft and the Centennial is not. All Day IPA is delicious and a go to session. But edge IMO is for bells for accessibility and freshness for me where I live.

    Founders. By a mile.

While I do enjoy Hopslam (and agree it is not what it used to be), Black Note and Expedition, the regular lineup for Bells all ranges from below average to just above average.

Founders on the other hand has KBS, Breakfast Stout, Imperial Stout, Backwoods, Double Trouble, etc. And the regular lineup is solid as well.

Black Note from Bell's has impressed me more than anything Founders has released.

I think KBS is way overrated.

I am a Bell's fan. I have recently delved into Founders but honestly Bell's does a better job of making beer with balance. Everyone of the Founders beers that I have had have had were too sweet in my opinion. I will admit that I think Two Hearted was my gateway IPA.
