Bell's, for the simple fact that while both have some delicious brews, I can get a reasonably priced 6-pack of my favorite Bell's, rather than overpaying for a 4-pack of Founders.

founders > bells. Better overall, bells might have them beat in IPAs but founders has pretty much every other category

Both are very mediocre overall in my opinion. Stouts are my favorite beers and since I would put both of them in the same category as stouts, it would come down to IPAs. And two hearted beats out all of founfers IPAs any day I gotta go with bells

Founders by default. Bell's still doesn't distribute here :slight_frown:

Coming from a Stout guy...I prefer Bells black note over Founders KBS,...but that's just me.

Founder's all the way. Although I dig some Bell's releases, I find the hype over Oberon and Hopslam a bit much. Founder's certainly has releases I'm not fully into, but overall, their line-up, including seasonal beers and limited releases, seems to be more diverse and innovative that Bell's. That said...I'll take Dark Horse over either.

If I had to choose Bells wins every time. Fortunately (or not) the only time I'm able to get either is when I'm in Michigan, and I don't have to choose!

Founders ... they've got some good styles and some experimental releases. Besides, they are more available in my area.

Founder's by a lot. Bell's distribution to my area is very subpar.

I would give a very slight edge to Bell's but both are fantastic.

Bell's. I've never been a big fan of Founders.

Bell's just because Two Hearted has always been one of my favorite IPA's (gotta get some of those cans...). Founders is good and Dirty Bastard is a solid Scotch Ale, but I don't buy them all that often.

The last year and a half of Backstage Series releases pushes me well into the Bell's camp.

Too late to do this the easy way and just stick a poll at the top of this thread? Crikey.

FBS puts founders over the edge for me. I drink that like water.

As a certified Ba living in Michigan I have to give a vote to founders. I never repeat never see any Bells BN or other of their limited releases ever! The ones I have found were over a year old and never seen them again. FBS is the most solid stout out there . But, the first one of those brewer's to produce a gose style that is good would get my vote . Now!
