Order? Least to most impact on the palate.

That's always the best plan when in doubt. The only caveat to less ABV—>more ABV for me is "sours". I like to save the 3% Berliner weissbier or 4% gose for dead last, but nobody should be counting "closers" anyway. :stuck_out_tongue:

So, when drinking some of you may recall the phrase, "liqour then beer you're in the clear, beer than liqour you're never sicker." Can we apply that to different types of beer? For instance is it better for your well being to drink stouts first and then finish up with IPA's? Maybe drink the high ABV beers first and then drink the lower ones? Just thinking out loud,

For me the order doesn't really matter so long as I keep up with the total amount of alcohol I'm consuming.

I usually start lighter (ABV & taste), then work my way up.
    Kinda like:

    AALs
    Session IPAs
    Pale Ales
    IPAs
    DIPA/IIPAs
    Barleywines
    Stouts/Porters

Generally if your going through a couple styles you want to start with the lighter beers and work up to the heavier ones. The bottom line with any beer is that if you drink too much you will get sick.
