Here is how it is going to work.

People will be randomly assigned a team using a random number generator. That will be your team for the year. You are able to select one team that you would hate to be assigned because they are rivals of your favorite team. Being a Tottenham fan, I won't want Arsenal.

    Final Season Standings.

Positions 11-20 will send a minimum of 44 ounces to Position 1.
Positions 7-10 will send a minimum of 44 ounces to Position 2.
Positions 5-6 will send a minimum of 44 ounces to position 3.
Position 4 will send a minimum of 22 ounces to position 5. (Consolation prize.)
Positions 2-3 will send a minimum of 24 ounces to position 20.

    Rivalry Pairings.

Each team will be partnered with a rival. After the season series between the rivals is complete each person must send 12oz per point their rival won off of them. Lets say ManUtd wins 1 and draws one agains ManCity. Whoever has City must send 44 ounces (4 points x 11 ounces) to the ManUtd representative and 11 ounces would go the opposite direction. The parties may agree to send only the team who won the most points. In the example above, City would send 33 ounces to United.

    The Pairings are

    ManUtd -- ManCity
    Tottenham -- Arsenal
    Everton -- Liverpool
    Newcastle -- Sunderland
    Swansea -- Cardiff
    Aston Villa -- West Brom
    Norwich -- Stoke
    Hull -- Southampton
    Chelsea -- West Ham
    Fullham -- Crystal Palace

Let me know if you want in.

Will only run it if we have a full 20 by Friday night.

I'd be in if there was more of a sliding scale in the overall rankings. I like the rivalry idea, but aside from that, 15 people will spend much of the season only wondering who they'll be sending beer to.

Edit: maybe not 15, but there are a lot of teams with little chance of being either top 5 or 20th in the leage.
