Pretty Things Baby Tree

    Saw some recently on the shelf at a packy dating from 2013. Would that be worth picking up or would there be issues since its been likely exposed to light while on the shelf? If the answer is obvious please excuse my ignorance.

    It's a Belgian quad and they keep it in a brown bottle. Might be worth a chance if it's cheap.

    Baby tree is a fantastic beer, I bet it would still be very tasty (maybe as good or better?) at two years old, even with beer store conditions. That being said I'd recommend finding some fresher bottles too, for the full experience - it's not hard to find and it's not really expensive.

    I would if it was > $10. They're 12-13.99 fresh that I've found.

    FWIW, just opened an August '13 bottling of Field Mouse's Farewell (stored continuously in my fridge) and it was terrific.
