I was planning on going to both this saturday, Do both offer tours and do both sell bottles on site? I know I can get bottles around the area but it would be easier to pick them up there if possible.
I don't think Pretty Things does tours, they're tenant brewers so they may not even be there that day (but I honestly don't know how that all works). Not familiar with the CBC bottle situation, but it is a worthwhile stop
Thanks...I am looking to get some fresh meadowlark ipa so hopefull some store in the area has it. Havent seen it places in a few weeks.
I know that Julio's had it when I was there Friday. Lots of places in RI have it as well, and I think that Sunset Grill and Tap still has it on tap.
Yea I need some in a bottle...I am doing a local for locals. I didn't see it in wines and more in Mansfield when I went last friday and their selection is usually decent. I will check around the city this weekend. Need to find some more fresh hoppy beers most likely.
The Meadowlark in shops came in late last week so it should be plently fresh. The place I work got five cases and we are on the small side. Shouldn't be hard to find in and around the city. As far as I know neither do any tours. Pretty things doesn't own a brewery. CBC does sell bottles and growlers on sight of most of what is available in stores.

Agreed that neither do tours to the best of my knowledge. But you can see most of the brewhouse and tanks at CBC from the bar and patio. I'm not sure what days or times they typically brew, but my guess would be that if you're there midweek, you might get to see it in action. Also, when I looked last at the CBC fridge (maybe a week-and-a-half ago) the Audacity was still Batch #2 from a few months ago. But I've seen a very fresh Batch #3 at some bottle shops around town, and I'd guess that it will be available at the CBC shortly if it's not already. Both Meadowlark and Audacity of Hops are fantastic beers.
I agree 100% that is why I would like more and to spread their fantasticness to friends across the states.
Correction, Craft Beer Cellar is in Belmont. Sorry...I had a senior moment. Staff, I haven't been too far that's for sure. I still live about 15 minutes from your house. My daughter is off to college soon. Let's grab a brew soon to catch up on things. Cheers! Johnny P
