They have Founders KBS here for $10.00 per single bottle (go figure it is not selling), which should be illegal  The price you paid for Singlecut isn't much better either

Yeah agreed, I know this happens everywhere, but I see this all the time on a local level on FB groups.
Local place A primarily cans their beer and they will do a 16oz BA stout at $9-10 per can. Someone inevitably always make a negative comment at the $10 can and freaks out when you do the "4pack math." Local place B does an occasional $14-15 ba stout in a 500ml bottle and zero comments about the price.

Don't get me started about singlecut! lol!
I just posted about them on another topic, and then saw this.
Good beer. Too expensive. I stopped buying 2 years ago. Only way their prices may come down if the consumer stops paying. My beer hobby is now seeking out the best beers for less than $2/12-oz can, or $3/16-oz can. My favorites are Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing (or any SN PA/IPA), Two Roads Lil' Heaven., Sam Adams NEIPA, Sixpoint Dabble, Guinness Draught :-), Founders All-Day IPA (or any Founders IPA), Counterweight Headway, Back East Rakautra, Lord Hobo Glorious and Boom Sauce, and actually Heady Topper at the brewery if you can get their! I think Heady is about $3/can in brewery. (P.S. I live in CT)

Retailers are paying $139.99 for heavy boots of lead... Thats roughly $23 a four pack so yeah 31.99 sounds right if not a bargain

At 32 bucks for a 4 pack that better give you temporary superpowers or something.

Singlecut's pricing is ridiculous and I don't bother with any of their beers.

I recall playing around $8 for a bottle when it was packaged in 500ml format. Well worth it IMO - one of my favorite beers of 2016.

And a real bargain compared to those Ale Apothecary prices :grimacing:
