Hello all. I brew and go right from primary to keg. Normally I track progress until FG is reached, wait 3 days for it to stabilize/clean up and then transfer to the keg. Is there any difference if I let it stabilize in the primary on the trub versus transferring to the keg and letting it stabilize there once FG is reached?

Any reason I wouldn't transfer to the keg when I reach FG and let it sit a week or two there before moving to kegerator?

Probably no great difference other than it is preferable to have the beer drop clear prior to legging. Keeping trub, hop debris and yeast from the bottom of the keg will make your beer dispense much easier.

In any event, I am a fan of letting all beer, lager, ale, in between, let it ripen for a week.

    Cheers

Okay, that makes sense. I'm able to transfer without bringing a lot of that over from primary.
