I have a double IPA fermenting, I added corn sugar half way through the boil (I've never done this before). Do I still need to add priming sugar when bottling?

Yes, the corn sugar in the boil will not prime your bottles. You added sugar to get a drier beer.

You will still need to add the corn sugar to your water and mix into your bottling bucket to prime the bottles to carbonate after it's finished fermenting.

Thanks, I knew it was a dumb question but didn't want to take any chances.

Sugar is added as a simple sugar for the yeast to consume and turn to alcohol opposed to the malt being the only source of sugar as a complex sugar. This lowers final gravities so the beer has a higher alcohol percentage and is more dry opposed to sweet. Priming sug a r is added after fermentation finishes to kick start the yeast and carbonate the bottles
