My buddy is traveling to Princeton NJ Nov 11th and agreed to be my beer mule. What's a good bottle shop around there and what should he look out for? Cheers NE BAs!
Public on Witherspoon is amazing. Ask for Gordon. He knows everything. Tell him John the photographer from red bank sent you.
Anything specific you'd recommend that's out or soon will be that doesn't get distributed to colorado? My favorites are anything BAed, sours and ipas.
I picked up Parabola, DFH 120, Devil Dancer, Mikkeller 1000 ibu, Lost Abbey Deliverence and Chimay 150 anniv
Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville is probably worth checking out as well. Taking a quick look at seekabrew to see what you don't get, You shouldn't have trouble grabbing some Maine IPAs (probably not lunch though), founders breakfast stout, Ithaca Flower Power, Sculpin, Allagash offerings, etc.
Flower Power is readily available yes. Do you guys get Bruery? If so you could possibly find Oude Tart, Tart of Darkness and possibly White Oak still hanging around.
CL is limited distro so you won't really find any of their beers, you will find Voodoo around but not the BA version, they are only available from the release parties.
That's only available in Vermont. Black Ops is usually November/December but you can probably find some of last year's on shelves. If he's driving then I highly suggest a short trip to PA for Trenton Road Take Out and Phillys Steaks Beers & Wings. They're like 5 minutes from each other.
