Got a friend thats going to princeton new jersey soon. Is there any recommendations as to what beers he should seek out? Thanks!
Welcome! If you post this on the Mid-Atlantic board you will get more answers, but the top NJ beers seem to be Kane Head High and Carton Boat Beer. For bottles, Flying Fish Exit 16 Rice IPA is really good. We also get a lot of beers from Eastern PA, like Troegs, Victory, Yards, Sly Fox- it all depends on what styles he enjoys, I suppose.
What TongoRad said and let me add: Captain Lawerence Ithaca (especially Flower Power) Carton has a couple of beers in cans, if you see them pick them up.
If he's going to be in Princeton have him check out Triumph brewery in town. If he's a big craft beer guy Buy Rite in Cranbury has a good selection. There's also Winberies in town, bottle shop. Very small selection but they have quality stuff. Have him find beermenus.com as it will be a great help wherever he goes.
