    Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could provide me with information of German breweries doing private label beers for start ups. We have finished with market research and trademarking, now looking for manufacturers for lager and wheat beers. Also if any contacts for free lancing brewmasters would be helpful. Anyone suggestions would be welcome. Many thanks.

I don't know if there's a "list" per se, but be simply aware that most breweries with capacity are larger set ups = large minimums (20,000 liter kind of stuff).

I friend of mine owns Privatbrauerei Egerer, I think they are doing contract work.

Ok thanks. I will contact them if that's ok. We are searching for many but have been only able to get 3-4 breweries.. Thanks for your help.

Would SIBA not be able to help you?

I will email Siba and see what they say too. Any freight forwarders for distribution anyone can recommend?.. Thanks for your help.

Worry about your freight carrier after you've found a contract brewer. No one will be able to quote pricing and availability until you know FOB location.

Vormann - http://www.vormann-brauerei.de does a lot of private label and contract stuff. They brew many of the Freigeist-Beers and do stuff for pubs and bottle-shops in Germany as well. They do a good job and are very friendly, if you call them
And as far as I know for a private-brew, their minimum is 1.000 litres - so not too much
