I’m glad proxies are an option, and I also know that’s not for me. A big part of the fun of memberships comes from the in-person interaction & similar intangibles!

 

For current / previous members, how have allocations been in the past? The website says members can purchase 1 or 2 bottles of any given release , are members typically limited to 1 bottle or is 2 usually the norm?

 

Usually its 3-4 new beers per release, with 1-2 bottles available to buy of each depending on the batch size. Last release was 4 different beers, 1 per on 2 of them, 2 per on the other 2. So max allotment was 6 bottles (which is typical).

Because bottles rarely sell out, there are opportunities to purchase more during cellar sales or when you pickup in person.

 

I can't blame him for not doing this. It seems like it would be an annoying thing to manage.

 

You could get a proxy and just gave them hold them for a bit. There’s a lot of cool and generous folks in the club.

 

I just joined the membership this year and I've had a few Private Press beers in the past but I cracked this one open with a friend this weekend and it blew me away. Perfect use of adjuncts, huge barrel. If this is an indicator of things to come I'm stoked for the year of beer heading my way
