I started a new conversation with him on the 5th. He has never even read it. He just doesn't even want to try to rectify the situation or clear his name. I wish he would at least have the balls to say, "Screw you. I'm sending nothing." But he is in permanent hiding mode.

I don't suppose banning bad traders from the Trade forums only would work? Perhaps make it easier than it should be to become unbanned (to reduce the amount of time required of mods), but that way in cases like this where there's no follow-through from the offending party at all, then they at least cannot continue posting FT:ISOs or joining BIFs.

I understand the reasons behind not banning users outright, but keeping them off of the boards where they have become unwelcome seems to be more of a community service and less of a hearsay punishment.

if we did ban users from individual forums, they would likely just create another account to access whatever forums their original account can't access. the proliferation of mobile users renders IP bans and tracking more or less useless as a deterrant for that kind of activity.

we've examined a lot of options over the years. there's no easy solution. that's why you trade at your own risk.

I've only traded with him once, but had a good experience when I did. I'm just catching up on this now...
