When you drink doesn't matter nearly as much as why.

Good info all of you, I agree that it only becomes a problem if it is creating problems. I didn't get to attend Founders "Breakfast Stout Breakfast" this year, but I am anxious to attend it next year. Sounds like FUN! I'm thinking we'll be sipping on some good brew quite early at the KBS release also!

I agree with most of the things you said, but if I have a bunch of "shit" to do, I want a good buzz on.

I'm sure it's not the only thing she never did.

Its not when you have the beer that counts. Its what you need to do afterwards. Even one beer can have an effect on some of the things you are able to do. (There's a good reason why airline pilots are not supposed to consume alcohol within the 24 hours preceding a flight.) That's why many folks choose their drinking time for after they finish their work, etc.

I drink with breakfast on the the weekends more often than not. I don't drink to get messed up. Just enhances the meal.

Long as you're paying your bills and takin' care of yourself (and your family), whatever (and whenever) you drink is fine by me.

I usually open a beer around 6:30am. I also work at night.
