I'm not sure what exact type of canning line they have, but from the tour I took a month ago I know it is automatic. Like I said this must have been a one (or 2 cans in this case) in a milliion type of event because I have been purchasing their beer in cans for a year and a half and never once had an issue until last night. I'm assuming that it must be just one of those rare occurences where the canning line wasn't working correctly. Either way I will still be purchasing their beer in the future.

Ive noticed some cans with what looks like mold growing on top. My assumption is that another case perhaps broke and dripped onto the cans since they are usually never protected.

Must be some kind of leak. Breweries weigh the cans and knock out the shorts. A small leak would explain the beer being flat and 3/4 full.

I work at a case distributor, and this kind of stuff happens with even the biggest companies(abinbev/coors). Who i am sure have much better canning lines than any small brewery.

Sometimes that little circle in the middle of the pull tab leaks, sometimes its from elsewhere. We have even had full 30 packes packed with empty cans. Sounds like nola did a good job making it up to you, and i would just chalk it up to technology.

I opened a Torpedo Extra IPA 16 ounce can, heard no pop, poured it and it was flat. The other three in the four pack were great no problems, it's the first and only time I have seen this with a can.
