I haven't seen any chatter about the newest nano brewery in Rhode Island. Just made my second stop in for growlers and a tasting. They are easily making the best IPA in the state (Tendril IPA) and have just bottled a Saison and a 100% Brett beer aged in pinot barrels to be released soon. Hoping to see big things from them. It's just nice to have a solid brewery a 20 minute drive from my home that will fill growlers. Check em out!

Will they fill any growler, or only their own?

^^^ Sorry. Searched the archives for the actual name of the brewery. Haha. They can only fill their own growlers per RI state law. Also they can only sell 74oz per person. So basically two 32oz growler and a 10oz tasting. Lots of people sharing today at the space though.

Posted this in the old thread. Figured I'd follow up with the newer thread.

"Of course, after spending years in RI and not having a single brewery to be proud of within 50 miles (besides Beer'd), this brewery opens up (with much promise I see) as I am preparing to move back to Long Island for good this weekend. I will definitely hit this place up right after my grad school graduation this upcoming Saturday, especially since it is literally 2 miles from the URI campus. Hopefully it gives me a reason to come back up to RI in the near future.

Plan on heading to Mew's on Tuesday for a pint or two of Tendril.

Edit: I see that another brewery is in the process of opening in Peacedale. Fishtail or Fishbone? Anyone else have any info on this brewery? Hope this is sign of good things to come to the ocean state.
