    Anyone find/try this yet?

Billed as a maple bourbon barrel aged IPA...

Found it in my hometown last night - bought a bottle and shared it with the regulars at the bar. I thought it was great. There's a good bit of hops in the nose, but they aren't as present in the taste. Mostly I got bourbon, maple and wood. Drank more like a barley wine to me. I bought two bottles - will likely go back and pick up more tonight. There's no way this doesn't age well. I'll pop another in about a year... once the tiny bit of hops dies down, this is going to be an amazing beer.

I thought it was fantastic. It was on tap last night at Vintners and everyone I talked to loved it as well.

I bought one last weekend at the Ballantyne HT. I have it in the fridge for tonight.

I agree. Delicious. Had a hop bite that quickly washed over with maple sweetness and touch of bourbon. Unique and impressive brew.

I bought two. I had one last week and enjoyed it. I decided to open my other one right now and I'm liking it more. I didn't really want to age it. You definitely get the bourbon and maple. I think it's really balanced. I'm not sure what everyone is paying, but I paid $13 for it in Greensboro, which I thought was fair.

Just echoing what everyone else here has said, but it's a damn tasty brew nicely balanced. I may age one just to see what happens, but it's great right now.

Why is 15 high when we're paying that at the brewery?

Has nothing to do with what anyone else is paying, I am just cheap.

I've had two bottles fresh - fantastic - and put three away for future tastings. I think it's going to age very well. The hop presence isn't over the top now.

Had it at Founders last night, I thought it almost had some fruit flavor in there (though that might have been the maple messing with me, I only had a taster). Have a bottle at home, so should be opening that up soon. I'd agree that aging probably wouldn't be a great idea.

Drinking it right now. Don't hesitate. Pick it up. Good now, might be good later. Honestly, might even be better fresh--the hop presence gives it a nice balance. I wonder if the hops fade whether the beer will be too sweet.

    Real nice offering from Founders.

Saw it at a local store yesterday, still had 3 bottles on the shelf. Wasn't sure if it was worth the 16.50$ price tag.

Good point. It's great as is - the hops are very nicely balanced. I put three back though, so we'll see.

    I bought 3 @ ~$15 each. It's fantastic, IMO.
