What promo items have you recently received with your recent purchases? How much did the promotion influence your purchase?
Pint glass with a 6 pack of obsidian. I was probably going to buy the obsidian anyways, but the glass sealed the deal.
My local liquor store had some promotional Christmas packages left over by Erdinger that included Two bottles of brew plus a beautiful, tall Hefeweizen glass. I love the glass but it's so tall it doesn't fit in my cupboard
I was going to start a thread similar to this myself. Whenever I go to a tasting, tap takeover, or other sort of brewery-sponsored event, I always like to take home some swag ("free stuff"). It doesn't take long for this policy to result in quite a collection of stickers, bottle openers, coasters, etc. Here are some of the buttons I have accumulated... bottle openers (you don't want to carry that Dogfish Head opener around in your pocket!)... My favorite sticker by far is this doozy from Bell's... And my all-time favorite piece of beer swag? It might be Sierra Nevada's lip balm (made with hops of course)... Cheers!
