    Hello all,

My girlfriend recently turned fiancee's father is actually the owner of this brewery. Obviously I've had a bunch of their beer and I love it. I just had the Rye Barrel Warpath out of a keg he brought back on Monday night and thought it tasted like freakin candy. Anyways, the reason for my post is to find out if I'm just biased or Proof is actually doing great things. Can anyone who frequents there or has simply just tried their beer give me some feedback? I really want the place to succeed but with the 6 billion other breweries in this country I know it's really tough. My best advice to him (since I'm undoubtedly way more of a beer snob than he'll ever be) was to make sure their stout or IPA was top notch. I told him lagers, ambers, wheats, etc don't catch peoples attention; stouts and IPAs do. Can anyone else share their opinion on this place? Thanks so much!

I've had the pleasure of trying their beers twice at beer events and think they are brewing top notch beers. I would say the Warpath is right up there with many of the upper tier IPAs. Would love to taste it BA'd. Their stout was excellent also. These are two solid flagship beers IMO.

I will tell you the only problem I see is they are so DAMN far away from me. This UF Gator grad would have no problem sitting in their taproom in the middle of FSU country!!! I wish them luck to not only succeed but go to distro down here real fast.

Good beers and now they have crowlers so a little bit easier for me to get beer when passing through.

I get to hit Proof twice a week usually!
I can't wait for the RR Square location to start churning out seasonal brews soon

Let me know if you ever make it to Orlando (I visit my son often). I'll trade some tasty south florida crowlers for yours.

I've always been a fan of Proof. Their IPAs are consistently excellent and they're pretty creative with their treatments.

I enjoy Proof a lot and make it to at least one of their locations once a week. If you ever made it to either location, you'd see busy bars and happy customers. Their Guru and Warpath IPAs are very enjoyable, and they have plenty of fun other beers (grapefruit guru, mango wit, etc). Creatures in the Dark(stout) is good as well.

I was told (by a bartender) that RR Square is there to produce the big boys that will be canned, while the seasonal/one-offs will be coming fromTennessee Street for the most part. This may have changed since I heard this but it makes sense.

Great Beers! They brew some pretty good IPA's. Can't wait for the Florida invitational tap takeover.

Heading from Tampa up to Tallahassee in an hour or so...which location has the better tap selection of their beers, or are they the same? Looking to try a few and get a couple of growlers filled...if one location has more limited releases/seasonals on tap I'd rather hit that one.

Got my answer via social media.

Both locations have the core beers, but Railroad Square has one offs and special releases.

Can't wait to check them out in about 5 hours...
